We had a great visit from ROCKSTAR Joanie Leeds this past weekend at Am Shalom.
She joined us for TOT Shabbat:
And she also joined us at Religious School:
We had a great time learning and singing her songs. The Ruach Choir sang with her on Friday night and loved it.
Our favorite song? I Wanna Be A Mensch.
What a great title, right? She asked our students what it means to be a mensch, and it was wonderful to hear some of their answers like helping others, recycling, and doing mitzvot.
